COMMUNICATION CAREERS WEEK

Communication Careers Week is five days of engaging events that bring together students, alumni, faculty, staff, and industry professionals. It provides opportunities to for students to expand their knowledge of the ever-changing landscape of the communication industry by gaining insights from alumni and working professionals.

It gives students opportunities to network and to discuss their career interests, as well as areas for possible future exploration. It includes a panel discussion, an internship expo, alumni guest speakers in classes, and more.

Hidden Careers in Communication and Media: Panel Discussion

These days communication and media are everywhere. There is no successful business, industry, government office, non-profit agency, educational or religious organization that is not using communication and media strategically. That means that communication and media jobs are everywhere. Today’s speakers will help us explore this wide and varied range of opportunities.

We have six speakers, including three alumni, representing the health industry, non-profit advocacy, commercial real estate and management, entertainment promotions, entrepreneurship, and the tech and startup community.
