On-Campus Outdoor shoots/Recordings

Follow these steps:

1) Reach out to Public Safety publicsafety@webster.edu or 314.968.7430 and tell them where you are shooting and when. Provide contact information for the producer(s) and any other crew members that will be there. If you will have outside visitors, mention that as well.

 

On-Campus INdoor shoots/Recordings

Follow these steps:

1) Reach out to Public Safety publicsafety@webster.edu or 314.968.7430 and tell them where you are shooting and when. Provide contact information for the producer(s) and any other crew members that will be there. If you will have outside visitors, mention that as well.

2) Make sure you know the names of the buildings you want to shoot in. If you don’t know them, you might try finding them on this CAMPUS MAP.

3) Reach out to Jeanene George, Director of Procurement, to find out who is the contact person for the building in which you’re planning to shoot. procurement@webster.edu

4) Reach out to the person who manages that location and provide the same information you provided to Public Safety including room numbers and exact times. Remember that you are asking for permission that may be denied.

5) Get that person to sign the Location Release Form below.

 

Off campus shoots/Recordings

NO WEBSTER UNIVERSITY STUDENT PROJECT IS ALLOWED ON PRIVATE PROPERTY WITHOUT WRITTEN PERMISSION FROM THE PROPERTY OWNER/MANAGER.

1) Find out who is responsible for granting permission to a location. Reach out and ask them for permission. If they say yes, skip to Step 3.

2) If they ask for proof of insurance, download the Certificate of Insurance Request Form below. Submit that form to Jeanene George, Director of Procurement. procurement@webster.edu

3) Get the owner/manager to sign the Location Release Form (above) and return it to Jeanene George, Director of Procurement. procurement@webster.edu. Keep a copy for your own files/production book.
